Coming up
I ran into an old friend of mine on http://www.tribe.net and she said there is going to be a new Renaissance Faire starting in Idyllwyld, CA and she is looking for guilds to participate. I don't know the exact date and location but as soon as she knows, she'll let us know.

What is Amigurumi?
I learned a new word this week. Amigurumi is a Japanese word for crocheted dolls and animals done in a spiral in single crochet. Also, some amigurumi are knitted. And some amigurumi are not dolls or animals, but weird things like cacti and cupcakes. I remembered how to spell the word because it starts with A mi and ends with a 'mi' and has a guru in the middle. Ami-guru-mi. If you like cute stuff you'll love amigurumi.
